Curriculum Development

Task 1

Conduct an evaluation of ICT integration in the curriculum, in your school/institution and 

write a report on your findings. Your report should contain the following information: 

-Background 

-Aspects of the programme to be evaluated 

-Method/evaluation model 

-Data collection 

-Analysis of information/data 

-Findings 

-Recommendations 

You may also add other relevant information. 

Additional Notes: 

-In conducting the evaluation, delineate particular aspects such as the integration of ICT in the teaching of a specific subject or overall school ICT integration across subjects. 

-Select an appropriate evaluation model (Topic 8). 

-Data collection may involve the use of multiple tools to asses teachers/students ICT proficiency, attitude, availability of ICT tools, teachers use of ICT. 

-Consider using statistical tools in analysing data. 

Task 2

-Based on your findings in Task 1 design a curriculum for integrating ICT in the teaching of a particular subject. Your design should include the following elements:

-objectives

- learning outcomes

-selection and organisation of content/subject matter

-selection and organisation of teaching-learning experiences

-evaluation procedures 

Assignment Format: 

a. Use double space and 12-point Times New Roman font. 

b. This assignment should contain about 3000-5000 words (at 15-20 pages). 

c. Provide references. References should use the American Psychological Association (APA) format. 

d. References should be from year 2005 and onwards.
