The diagram above is a brief description of the historical climate of ethnic relations in Malaysia from the period of the Malacca Sultanate to the era of modern development. It also describes conflicts along the historical lines as well the actual causes and the efforts made to strengthens the ethnic relations.

PURPOSES

The objective of the assignment is for learners to understand the actual effect and impact of ethnic relations in Malaysia.

REQUIREMENTS

Based on the above diagram; Discuss the relationship between the races in Malaysia based on the three periods; pre-independent, post-independent and post 13th May tragedy.
