PURPOSE

The purpose of this assignment is to develop learners’ ability to identify and analyse the different roles played by managers in organisations.

REQUIREMENT 

Select three short articles from magazines or newspapers which depict three different roles played by managers in organisations. Identify and analyse each of the three managerial roles as described in the articles.

1.0 Introduction on the roles played by managers in organisations

2.0 Analysis on the first managerial role based on the first newspaper or magazine article

3.0 Analysis on the second managerial role based on the second newspaper or magazine article

4.0 Analysis on the third managerial role based on the third newspaper or magazine article

5.0 Conclusion on which role is the most difficult to play and why.
