There are hundreds of stories all around you. Every person, every community has a story to tell. Just keep Who, What, Where, When and Why in mind as you start off with a great lead, tell the story and finish off with an eye-catching headline. To make a REALLY great story, use a photo or a graphic.
2. Feature writing tells the reader a story. It has a beginning (lead), middle and end. It uses quotes liberally and allows the reader to see the story through detailed description and vivid writing.
Write a long (at most four pages) feature article. For example about personality, tourism, climate change, abortion or something that is interesting to read. It doesn’t matter if you are for or against it. What is important is you remain factual yet entertaining, convincing and informative. Provide your own title. Give an interesting and entertaining title.
