TUGASAN 2 (25 marks)

Oral Presentation Instructions

1. Group Work

 From a group of five (5) to six (6) members. You may work with students from

your own or other regional centres.

2. Task Description

Choose only one (1) of the following topics for your group presentation.

Each member must present different points related to the chosen topic.

Topic Options:

I. How Social Media Shapes Our Opinions and Behavior

How does social media influence people’s opinions and behavior? What are some

examples of its positive and negative effects on individuals and society? How can we use

social media more responsibly? You may use examples from your own experiences,

observations, or current events.

II. Are Modern Lifestyles Making People Less Healthy?

Are modern lifestyles improving or harming people’s health? Discuss habits, technology

use, work or study patterns, and social behavior. Suggest simple actions individuals can

take to live healthier lives.

III. Online vs. Traditional Learning: Challenges Faced by University Students

Today

Which do you think is more effective — online or traditional learning? What challenges

do university students face in each mode? Suggest ways to make learning more successful

in both settings.

IV. Sustainability: How Small Actions Can Protect Our Planet

What does sustainability mean to you? What small actions can students and communities

take to protect the environment? Explain why these actions matter and how they can create

long-term change.

3. Presentation Guidelines

o Each member must speak for a maximum of 2 minutes.

o Begin by introducing yourself (name and matric number).

o Speak clearly, confidently, and avoid reading directly from notes.

o Your group must conduct a live online presentation (e.g., through Webex

or Google Meet).

o Do not record separate individual videos and combine them later.

o The video must show the group presenting together in one live session.

o Ensure your content is relevant and avoids sensitive topics (race, religion,

or politics).

o Any violation will result in mark deductions.

4. Recording and Submission

a) Record your live group presentation during your online meeting.

b) Upload the complete recording to YouTube (using one member’s account).

c) Post the YouTube link on the e-learning portal forum created for this assignment.
