Map Analysis will be conducted during the Intensive Course via a “Hands-on” approach. Topics covered in this test include scale, measurement, and gradient. Students are required to download QGIS software (available freely) via the Download QGIS link as the software will be utilized. Students are advised to visit the portal frequently to retrieve further updates.

The Map Analysis coursework will focus on utilizing “QGIS software”, which is freely available for download and installation on your PC / Laptop via the link below:

Please take note and ensure all of you attend this session. All students, kindly pay close attention to the instructions in "The QGIS homework" below:

A. Please start by attentively watching the lecture movies in both English and Malay.

B. Please create at least 5 (min) or 10 (max) screenshots., each with a capture description, for each piece of material and each component of the content. Please visit the e-learning portal to get the lecture PowerPoint. In the PowerPoint, you can locate the QGIS content on the second page.

7)      Import elevation data from Google Earth (5-10 screenshots)

C. Please create a table with two rows and one column on the Microsoft Word page (for each screenshot) to correct all the screenshots in Word.

 · Put the screenshot in the top row.

· Insert the figure described in the second row.

 D. After completing the assignment, please convert all of the screenshots from Microsoft Word to PDF format.
