Introduction to Communication

 

Describe the history, development and perspectives of communication studies. Transferable skills that will be tested are: LOC1 - Knowledge (10%) and LOC3c-Communication Skills (Written) (10%).

INSTRUCTIONS:

i. Each student must produce a scholarly essay writing with factual features, appropriate examples and critical discussion on the following topics: Discuss the development and implications of new communication technologies, such as social media and artificial intelligence on communication.

ii. This essay should not exceeded more than 2500 words (excluding reference and appendix pages) typed with 1.5 line spacing.

iii. Please use either Times New Roman or Arial or Calibri font of size 12.

iv. This essay should be supported with academic references and comply with APA writing style. Check online on how to write references following APA writing style.

v. The deadline for submission is MEETING 2.

vi. Only submission of less than 20% similarity index and Al writing index is acceptable.

vii. Please upload your submission to the UUM 'Online Learning' system via Turnitin.

viii. Your individual assignment will be evaluated based on rubric LOC1 & LOC3c - Written.
